 "Situation
4" is another interesting game from the time period when Parker Brothers
was owned by General Mills. Although the objective is for both sides to
complete the puzzle using the Gameboard as a guide, the use of Paratroopers,
Tanks, and Bridges add quite a strategic dimension to the game. Completing
a Paratrooper base or a Tank base allows players to overtake the other
player's puzzle piece or defend their own from being taken over. Team play
makes this strategy / war / puzzle game even better. Also look at "Situation
7", an expansion of sorts or follow-up to this game.
Game
components include : Gameboard, 2 complete sets of Puzzle pieces, 4 plastic
Bridges (2 ea. of 2 colors), 6 plastic Parachute pieces (3 ea. of 2 colors),
6 plastic Tanks (3 ea. of 2 colors), about 24 Flags (12 ea. of 2 colors)
& instructions.
Two
