"Across
The Continent" was first published in 1952, then again in 1960. The game
represents tours across the continent. Larger cities are shown by large
circles and state capitals as starred circles. Generalized characteristics
of areas are pictorially represented .. cattle raising, mining in mountain
areas, etc. The object was to take a tour "Across The Continent" and then
return to your starting city ... by exact count of the dice.
Game
components include : Gameboard, 8 Dice w/ 4 Dice cups, 4 Car playing pieces,
Tour cards, Question cards & instructions.
Two
to four players. Ages 8 & up. Parker Brothers. Originally from 1952.
