"Name
That Country" seems to be a revamped / updated version of Educational Insight's
1989 game titled "Worldwide Pen
Pals" (and considering the countries which have changed their names
over the years, it was probably a good idea). Here, everyone begins at
the Post Office and a country is selected after spinning the spinner. If
the player can correctly identify the country's location on the board's
numbered map, they may advance along the game path. Bonus moves are won
by landing on "postcard" spaces, listening to the clues on one of the 40
postcards, and correctly identifying the Pen Pal's country. Different skill
difficulties can be attained through some simple additions ... like also
having to name the country's capital. A related game is "Name
That State".
