Facing the greatest army of the time, the Judaeans must rely on the stoutness of their walls to halt the unbeatable Roman legions in "Siege Of Jerusalem". As Eliezar Ben Yair, leader of the Zealots, you must conduct a skilled defense of the city's ever shrinking perimeter --- will you exact from the Romans a price so terrible that they will be forced to lift their siege or will you break out to continue your struggle for freedom at Masada? As Titus, commander of the Roman army, you must decide when, where, and how to renew the assault, gauging your troop needs against the progress of your siege works and the press of time caused by outside threats.
Features include continuous combat system, a strategic interphase for conducting the entire siege, and morale / panic rules. An Introductory Scenario will help you get the hang of the game. A heavily revised edition of the original game from the 1970s.

The General magazine Vol 26 # 4Game components include : Mapsheet, 520 one-half inch Counters, 176 five-eighths inch Counters, CRT sheet, Scenario sheet, 2 Dice & Rule book.

Two players. Ages 12 & up. Avalon Hill from 1989.

Additional info: There was an article on this game in "The General" magazine Vol. 26 # 4 which included Scenarios

An important note regarding Avalon Hill games - It was not unusual for Avalon Hill to re-publish most of their games with 2nd, 3rd or more Editions. Sometimes the game components changed, sometimes they didn't. If your game components do not correspond exactly with what is listed, do not despair. You may just have to do a little more checking to insure its completeness.
