"Perilous
Lands" is a supplement to the "Powers
& Perils" fantasy role-playing system that details an entire continent.
Three books are included: (1) The Map Book details the physical environment,
political boundaries, and population centers for the continent and its
associated islands through twenty-six maps, (2) The Culture Book details
the past history, population, armed strength, economy, personality, legal
system, allies, enemies and common languages for each of more than one
hundred cultures, (3) The Site Book details more than fifteen areas, with
precise details and general information, that the Referee can develop into
complete adventures for their world ... plus a special addenda with aids
that will help the Referee to use these books in play.
Ages
12 & up. Avalon Hill from 1984.
"Powers
& Perils" also had a module, "Tower
Of The Dead", and another supplement, "Book
Of Tables".

Ownership of "Powers & Perils"
is necessary to use any of the modules / supplements.
An
important note regarding Avalon Hill games
- It was not unusual for Avalon Hill to re-publish most of their games
with 2nd, 3rd or more Editions. Sometimes the game components changed,
sometimes they didn't. If your game components do not correspond exactly
with what is listed, do not despair. You may just have to do a little more
checking to insure its completeness.
