| "Powers
& Perils" is a Fantasy Role Playing game, a unique game entry for Avalon
Hill at the time. With the systems provided and your imagination, the game
allows you to create worlds both unique and challenging, and to create
highly detailed Characters. As you succeed and survive, your Character
will increase in ability. Finely detailed creatures, magical artifacts
of all descriptions and magic, will seem to come alive.
Game
components include : 4 Books (Character, Combat & Magic, Creature &
Encounters and Humans & Treasures), "County Mordara" scenario, Character
Record pad, Die and 2 ten-sided Dice.
Ages
12 & up. Avalon Hill from 1983.
The
game also had a module, "Tower
Of The Dead", and two supplements, "Book
Of Tables" and "Perilous
Lands".

Ownership of "Powers & Perils" is necessary to use any of the modules
/ supplements.
An
important note regarding Avalon Hill games
- It was not unusual for Avalon Hill to re-publish most of their games
with 2nd, 3rd or more Editions. Sometimes the game components changed,
sometimes they didn't. If your game components do not correspond exactly
with what is listed, do not despair. You may just have to do a little more
checking to insure its completeness.
