With
"Per Plexus" (sometimes written "Perplexus"), one might think of three-dimensional
Tic-Tac-Toe, but I refer to it as a shifting Tic-Tac-Toe. The board has
six rows and, to start the game, each player places three moveable rows
(shuttles) into each of the three nearest rows on the gameboard. Each turn,
a player can either place one stone in any space or move one of the shuttles
(and the stones in it) one space to the left or right ... hence the shifting
Tic-Tac-Toe concept. The object is to get five stones of your color in
a row, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
It's
important to note that I believe Avalon Hill never released this game in
their name. This was part of the warehouse stock when Avalon Hill bought
out Aladdin. Although listed in their catalogs of that time period, I believe
all they merely did in regard with this game and several others was to
sell off the remaining stock. If you have a copy with the Avalon Hill name
on the box or inside pieces, you can contact me to make a correction at .
Game components include :
plastic Gameboard, 6 plastic Gameboard Rows, 36 Stones (18 ea. of 2 colors
- usually blue & yellow) & instructions.
Two players. Ages 12 &
up. Aladdin Industries / Avalon Hill.
