"Guns
Of Fort Defiance" is an arcadish-type game where you are the commander
of a Napoleonic era artillery piece and crew in a besieged stockade, attempting
to repel a series of attacks by infantry, cavalry or artillery. Your crew
will have to learn the "gunner's art" as practiced in the 19th century.
You will have to determine the type of ammunition for the target, correct
fuse length, elevation and deflection. Multiple levels can insure easier
or harder attacks. Your crew may even run for cover if an enemy soldier
or shellburst comes too near! Available for the TRS-80, Pet, Atari and
Apple II.
One
player. Microcomputer Games / Avalon Hill.
Note:
Any computer, type of media, and/or minimum requirements listed are limited
to those in Avalon Hill catalogs I have available. It is possible there
may be more available than listed.
