 "Close
Assault" is one of those mixes of board game and computer game. Here you
command a squad of infantry in World War II. Russian, German and American
forces are represented. You play the game similar to most wargames, with
the exception that the computer resolves all combat, keeps track and handles
line-of-sight questions, takes care of double hidden movement, and keeps
track of every man ... it handles all the rules so you do not have to keep
re-reading them! You can even set up your own scenarios. The game comes
with a Mapboard, over 60 Counters, Player Aid pad, Rule book, and computer
software. Available for the TRS-80, Apple II and Atari.
