The
simple goal in "Hexagony" is to capture or surround your opponents' units,
eliminating them from the game. Players start the game with an Army of
12 Units and a limited amount of supplies. Each turn a player either moves
on the battle board, paying a precious supply counter for each roll of
the dice, or try to obtain more supplies on the supply track. The 12 Terrain
markers are placed randomly for each game, so a new board configuration
is made for each game. Alliances are possible but watch out for the stab
in the back. General playing time about one hour.
Game components include :
Gameboard, 12 Terrain markers, 72 Unit counters, 6 Supply markers, 60 Supply
counters, 2 Dice & Rule book.
Two to six players. Ages
12 & up. Avalon Hill.
An
important note regarding Avalon Hill games
- It was not unusual for Avalon Hill to re-publish most of their games
with 2nd, 3rd or more Editions. Sometimes the game components changed,
sometimes they didn't. If your game components do not correspond exactly
with what is listed, do not despair. You may just have to do a little more
checking to insure its completeness.
