By
November of 1796, Napoleon was eight months into a brilliant campaign when
two Austrian forces threatened to converge on him. The "Battle For Italy"
gamette re-creates that critical time by use of Brigade-size units. Medium
complexity. Typical game takes about one and a half hours.
Game
components include : Mapboard, 117 Counters, Charts/Tables chart &
instructions.
Two
players. Ages 12 & up. Avalon Hill from 1983.
Additional
info: There was an article on this game in "The General" magazine in
Vol. 21 # 2.
An
important note regarding Avalon Hill games
- It was not unusual for Avalon Hill to re-publish most of their games
with 2nd, 3rd or more Editions. Sometimes the game components changed,
sometimes they didn't. If your game components do not correspond exactly
with what is listed, do not despair. You may just have to do a little more
checking to insure its completeness.
