"Bali",
a game which predates even Avalon Hill's existence, combines the challenge
of word games with the fascination of cards. Each player is dealt seven
cards to form seven columns, as in "solitaire". Each card has a letter
and numerical value. In the solitaire version, a player may form a word
of three letters or more from any of their seven letter cards. In two to
four player games, players may form words on their own cards and on opponents'
cards. Thus, players can steal cards from others and disrupt their hands
and strategy. Points are awarded based on the value of the letters. Also
available in a Travel Edition from Avalon Hill. The typical game lasts
about one hour.
Game
components include : 2 decks of Cards (54 ea. deck) w/ Holder & instructions.
The Travel Edition and some other Editions only included the cards &
instructions.
One to four players. Ages
12 & up. Avalon Hill from 1980.
