A
little knowledge is dangerous, the saying goes, but even in this "knowledge"
game it can let you win. Players select five classes and categories, then
fill in as many as 25 Playcard blanks as possible with words and phrases
fitting their classes and categories. Battle against time & your opponents
--- and your memory --- to get all the "Facts In Five" ... five minutes,
that is! Typical playing time about three hours. Originally published by
3M.
Game
components include : 56 Cards (52 Class / Category & 4 Wild), 30 plastic
Letter Tiles, Playcard scoring sheets, Master Score card sheets, Timer,
plastic holding/playing tray & instructions.
One
to five players (or more with Party rules). Special rules permit children
to play on a level playing field. 3M / Avalon Hill.
Additional
info: One of the all-time best-sellers for 3M, Avalon Hill did quite
well with the title, too. In the 1980s there was also a computer
version made of the game.
An
important note regarding Avalon Hill games
- It was not unusual for Avalon Hill to re-publish most of their games
with 2nd, 3rd or more Editions. Sometimes the game components changed,
sometimes they didn't. If your game components do not correspond exactly
with what is listed, do not despair. You may just have to do a little more
checking to insure its completeness.
