In
"The Royal Navy", the fleet of Great Britain is well represented at a Tactical
level through thirteen scenarios from World War I and II (with two additional
bonus scenarios. Note: The number of scenarios seems to have depended on
when one ordered the game. To my knowledge there was a total of nineteen
scenarios available, although there may have been more). From long-range
daylight battles to short, deadly night action. Many different nations'
great ships are represented, too. Based on "Ironbottom Sound" and "Destroyer
Captain", this game is a culmination of both of those games. Each hex (daytime)
is about 1500 yards and (at night) about 600 yards. Game-turns (daytime)
are about 7.5 minutes and (at night) about 3 minutes.
