One
thing we know is what we like. But can you guess what your friends ...
your best friends ... even your most intimate companions ... like? And
what they loathe? The race to the finish line in "Personal Preference"
is almost as exciting as the conversation. Play starts when four Subject
cards are placed on the board. If you are "IT", you secretly rank them
in order of your preference. The choices can be wild --- from Mussolini
to mosquitos, from singles bars to strangers who say "Hi" on the street.
You do not have to know anything about the topic. Then the real fun begins
as the other players try to figure out how you ranked the Subjects ---
and you get to listen. Great party game.
.
Game
components include: Gameboard, 4 Tokens, 4 boxes of Subject cards (about
400 cards - about 100 each of 4 subjects), 16 Preference chips (4 ea. of
4 colors), 4 Preference cards, Secret envelope & instructions.
(Note:
Although it would seem the intent was to have 100 cards for each of 4 subjects,
I have found (from selling more than 30 of these over the years) a wide
range of cards ... from as few as 97 cards per subject to as many as 104
cards per subject, and also as few as 395 total cards to as many as 405
total cards).
Two
or more players --- best played with four or more and in teams. Recommended
for Adults. Broderbund Games from 1988.
