Before
Gettysburg, the "Iron Brigade" was already famous for its fighting qualities,
winning glory in every battle in which it fought. "Iron Brigade : It's
Finest Hour at Gettysburg" has two tactical scenarios of the first day
at Gettysburg involving the "Iron Brigade" : (1) The brigade's collision
with Archer's Confederate brigade in McPherson's Woods when it first arrived
on the battlefield in the morning ; and (2) The critical opening stages
of the main Confederate attack in the afternoon. Hexes are thirty yards,
strength points are fifteen men, and game-turns are about six minutes.
Typical wargame from the period but on an off-beat subject.
Game
components include : Mapsheet, 200 Counters & Rules.
Two
players. Ages 12 & up. David Martin & Leonard Millman from 1982.
(Also sold under 3C, CCC or Three C)
