"Inchon:
Turning The Tide In Korea" is an Operational -level simulation of the Inchon
landings and the battle for the capture of Seoul during the Korean War
from Sept. 15 through Sept. 26, 1950. The landings were made far behind
North Korean lines and were sufficiently successful so as to cause the
complete collapse of the In Min Gun. "Inchon" covers the first twelve days
of the operation in one-day turns. Two historic and two alternate scenarios
are add variation, with the impulse movement system and morale considerations
making it generally a step above the typical wargame. Hexes are about 1.7
kilometers and units are Company and Battalion.
Game
components include : Mapsheet, 255 Counters (?) & 8-page Rules.
Two
players. Ages 12 & up. Simulations Canada from 1981. Design, Development
& Graphics: Stephen Newberg.
