The
term "Picnic", because this is a Bombay, India game, refers to taking a
"Holiday" or "Vacation" ... not what Americans would call a "picnic". The
aim is for each player to take their family on "Picnic" and return home
without running out of money. There will be the normal bills and costs
along the way, with some unexpected delays and costs thrown in. You will
have to buy meals, gas, hotel rooms, have car repairs, gamble, and more.
Players should choose traveling routes shrewdly. While it is a relatively
simple game for families, it has some of the prettiest money I have seen
in a game.
Game
components include : Gameboard, 12 Gala cards, Play money, 6 Playing pieces,
Die & instructions.
Two
to six players. Ages 6 & up. Gala Plastics from 2005.
