A
simple game built around "Visiting Colonial Williamsburg" through movements
on the gameboard. Cards are drawn which direct your space movement around
the board to different locations ... like The Gaul, the Wren Building,
the Guardhouse, the Maze and other Colonial Williamsburg spots. Some squares
will accelerate your moves and some will put you back. The winner is the
player who gets all four of their tokens to the finish. My information
says this was originally designed for, and sold at, Colonial Williamsburg
for the tourist trade in the late 1950s, so some locations mentioned in
the game may no longer be there.
Game
components include : Gameboard, 16 Tokens (4 ea. of 4 colors), 48 Cards
& instructions.
Two
to four players. Ages 8 & up. Charles H. Overly Studio from 1958.
Additional
info: Rules
(text file).
The Charles H. Overly Studio
was best known for artistic prints and cards (like Note cards). This appears
to be the only game published by this company. If you have more information,
