"Sign
It" is a serious, but fun, combination of learning and entertainment about
American Sign Language. The game has you moving along a path on the board
by die rolls. When one lands on a square, they pick a card and sign the
word which matches the color of the square they have landed on. There are
some variations of the game where you can either use the game as a learning
and teaching experience or use it it a competitive sense, assigning points
for correct answers. The board itself has signs of all the alphabet letters
plus numbers 1 through 10 to aid in playing, so a vast knowledge of Sign
Language is not required.
Game
components include : Gameboard, 6 Playing pieces, 103 Cards, Die, "Signing
Illustrated" booklet by Mickey Florin & suggested instructions.
Two
to six players (more if you have extra playing pieces). Ages 8 & up.
Michael R. McCoy from 1995.
