Although
based on the United Nations,"A Game About The United Nations" does not
try to mimic the procedures of that organization. Instead it uses the United
Nations as a backdrop to accumulate points by gaining "seats" in the assembly.
Through use of moves on the gameboard, roll of the dice, and cards (such
as Veto, Assembly & Bonus), players occupy Assembly seats, gain Security
Council seats, and become Permanent and Non-Permanent voting members. The
player with the most points wins.
Game
components include : Gameboard, 4 Pawns, 2 Dice, 99 General Assembly cards,
32 Instruction cards, wood Markers & instructions.
Two
to four players. Ages 12 & up. Payton Products from 1961.
