 "Infection",
not surprisingly, is a game about diseases. It is meant to educate, inform
and entertain. Each player starts with Disease cards and money, and in
the process of moving around the gameboard, tries to cure all of their
diseases. Contagious diseases can be given to players who land on a space
with another player. Medical Station spaces are safe zones. Rest rooms,
Swim areas, Transplants, Vitamins and other things come into play ... even
Sneezing! The game seems to have a small, cult-like following and can be
... sorry ... infectious.
Game
components include : Gameboard, 12 Playing pieces, 100 Disease cards, 100
Treatment cards, 26 Intensive Care cards, Play money, 2 Dice & instructions.
Two
to eight players. Ages 9 & up. Earwig Enterprises from 1998 (originally
published in 1991).
