Designed
as an Educational and Human Relations game, "Dignity" explores black heritage
in the United States and the struggles encountered by people trying to
get out of the ghettos. A forward from George Riddick of the Southern Christian
Leadership Conference says "(Dignity) is the first attempt ... to design
a group game that would clearly portray the frustrations and innate possibilities
of the peoples in the ghetto."
Game
components include : Gameboard, 4 Playing pieces, 98 Dignity cards, Dignity
play money & instructions.
Two
or more players (if more than four you must provide your own playing pieces).
Ages 10 & up. Friendship Press from 1969.
This appears to be the only
game published by this company, although I have reason to believe they
may have put out a second game. If you have more information, please contact
