And......they
are off! "Computer Derby" is an interesting and hard-to-find game. You
place your chips on the horse you think will win. You press the button
to make the two top discs spin around. The outside is the horses and the
inside is the "pay-off rates". After spinning (sometimes short spins, sometimes
long ones), the outside light finally stops on the winning horse. Meanwhile,
the inside "pay-off rate" keeps spinning. When that stops, the pay-off
is the one under the winning spotlighted horse. Almost any number can play
but you would need more chips then included with the game. Requires 3 "C"
cell batteries. Unit is about 10" in diameter.
Game
components include : Computer Derby Racing Unit, 100 chips (20 each of
5 colors), plastic Chip holder, & instructions.
Almost
any number of players. Ages 12 & up. WACO from 1973 (?).
This appears to be the only
game published by this company. If you have more information, please contact
