A
different kind of race --- a "Chariot Race"! The game is played through
a combination of dice, cards, symbols and luck. For example: Even numbered
rolls of the dice make the chariot run straight, while odd numbers can
move the chariot sideways into another lane (plus, there are possible combinations
of the two). There is also a wood Spina (central structure) with wood pegs
to keep track of the laps ... along with the wood chariots. The game seems
to be originally designed for the tourist trade in Europe (where it was
originally sold) but is fun, nonetheless.
Game
components include : Gameboard, Curriculum cards, Fatum cards, 4 wood Chariots,
center piece (includes wood Spina (base), Obelisk & Pegs (28)), 2 Dice
& instructions.
Two
to four players. Ages 8 & up. ALIF from 1986.
