"The
Sporting News: Baseroll" is a nifty little baseball game based on the rolls
of the dice checked against the charts which are enclosed. There are two
levels of play --- a Basic Version, without setting line-ups ... and an
Advanced Version, where you become the Manager. The Board design is by
Amandee. This originally seemed poised for a series of games, starting
with this Wrigley Field Edition as part of the Classic Park Collection,
but as far as I am aware there were no others published. Perhaps one of
the downfalls of the game could be that the players were generic and not
licensed by any league.
