A
sim of the largest colonial war fought in Africa as Italy invaded Ethiopia
in 1935-1936. One player commands the Italian army, which is modern and
well-trained, and must drive into Ethiopia, capturing key cities and/or
Emperor Haile Selassie. The other player commands the Ethiopian army, which
is poorly equipped and trained but large and mobile. Optional rules allow
for variations. Low to medium complexity.
A later
issue of Command Magazine (# 23) also included "Tournament Rules" and "3-Player
Rules".
Game
components include : Mapsheet, 180 Counters (no blanks) and Rules. (Note:
Game, as originally published in the magazine, had a Countersheet of 200
Counters but 20 of the Counters were for other games).
