A
tactical-level sim of the first two hours of the fight for the Hougoumont
Chateau during the Battle of Waterloo. From 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, the only
serious fighting occurred at this farm, which resulted in a French bloodbath.
Each game turn represents about 10 minutes, each hex about 25 yards and
each stacking point about 25 men. There is a historical scenario and a
variant scenario, with a number of optional rules --- Leaders, howitzer
impact & fire. Low to medium complexity.
Game
components include : Mapsheet, 199 Counters (no blanks) and Rules. (Note:
Game, as originally published in the magazine, had a Countersheet of 200
Counters but 1 of the Counters was for another game).
