A
sim of the struggle between Bolivia and Paraguay for the desolate Chaco
region in Central South America from 1932-1935. Although it began as a
series of border incidents, it developed into one of the bloodiest conflicts.
Game-turns are about one month and hexes about 15 kilometers. Four scenarios,
beginning at various critical points in the conflict, and one Campaign
game are included. Victory is determined by accumulation of Victory Points.
Low to medium complexity.
Game
components include : Mapsheet, 190 Counters (no blanks) and Rules. (Note:
Game, as originally published in the magazine, had a Countersheet of 200
Counters but 10 of the Counters were for other games).
