Halma,
or Alma as it was originally called, was a popular favorite for years.
The name Halma is derived from a Greek word meaning jump ... and jump you
will. Basically you might call it an expansion of Checkers, where both
a move and a jump can be made. And not just any old jump! You can
jump in any direction, continuously, as long as there is an empty space
to jump to. Pieces are not removed in jumps but it helps you to reach your
goal of moving all your pieces to the opposite side of the board.

2 player game), 13 ea. green & yellow Playing pieces (for 4 player
game) & instructions.
