Here's
a chance to re-live the American Revolution in a broad strategic form.
Players assume the roles of either leading the Continental Army / Militia
or the British, using Naval and Land units. The British have a definite
advantage but can be beat through small skirmishes to wear them down. Part
of the American Heritage series of games from this time period.
Game
components include : Gameboard, 24 Skirmish cards, 4 plastic Warship units
(3 red & 1 blue), 2 plastic Naval Troop Carriers (1 red & 1 blue),
blue plastic Continental Army unit, 36 plastic Basic Army units (18 red
& 18 blue), 6 plastic Top Army units, 3 special Movement Dice, regular
red Die, 2 plastic Dice cups, 32-page American Heritage "Battles of the
American Revolution" historical booklet & 8-page Rules booklet.
