An
Inword is a word of 3 or more letters which lies, in correct sequence,
within a larger word, called the Game Word. For example, the Inword might
be _ _ V A N _ _, with the whole word being 7 letters. The object is to
guess the Game Word through hints and guesses starting with the Inword.
For example, one might ask if there is an "E", and it may now look like
this : _ _ V A N _ E. Another guess might ask if there is an "A", and it
may now look like this : A _ V A N _ E. They may guess this word as ADVANCE
and, if so, would gain points. This game would seem to be an outgrowth
of Game Show games from this period, as the box design & use of the
Magic Red Window reminds one of "Password". Hard game to find.
Game
components include : 5 Writing Slates w/ 5 Stylus markers, Score Dial,
Vinyl Word Cardholder w/ Magic Red Window, 64 double-sided Word cards &
instructions. NOTE: Game does not give contents list.
Three
to six players. Ages 10 & up. Milton Bradley from 1972.
