THE
OBJECT: To move one of your pawns onto either of your opponent's home
spaces.
TO
START: Each player gets 9 green walls, 9 blue walls and 2 matching
pawns. Place the pawns on their respective home spaces (Yellow on yellow
and red on red).
THE
PLAY: On your turn, move one (1) of your pawns either 2 spaces forward,
backward or sideways OR diagonally 1 space --- IF THERE ARE NO WALLS BLOCKING
THE PATH. After you move your pawn, place one of your walls in any open
groove in the board.
Blue
Walls - can ONLY be placed HORIZONTALLY across the board.
Green
walls - can ONLY be placed VERTICALLY up and down the board.
RULES:
...1.
On your turn you MUST move one of your pawns and place one of your
walls (if you still have walls).
...2.
If you run out of walls, just move a pawn.
...3.
Walls must be placed so they ONLY block TWO spaces (across
one groove).
...4.
Two pawns may NOT occupy the same space.
...5.
A pawn may move just one space IF it is blocked by another pawn.
...6.
A pawn may jump ONE space OVER another pawn in its way.
...7.
THERE
MUST ALWAYS BE AT LEAST ONE OPEN PATH TO ALL HOME SPACES NO MATTER HOW
DEVIOUS YOU WANT TO TRY TO BE.
...8.
A home space may NEVER be totally surrounded by walls.
...9.
You may not protect a home space by leaving a pawn on it. The winner is
allowed to remove an opponent's pawn from a home space it is about to occupy.
THE
WINNER: The winner is the first player to move a pawn onto either of
the opponent's home spaces.
YOUR
LAST MOVE MAY BE 1 OR 2 SPACES. |
