Covering
some of Alexander's more famous & decisive battles --- Battles of Chaeronea,
Grancius, Issus & Gaugamela --- the gaming system is simplistic enough
to learn easily but complex enough to offer realistic results. One can
fight each battle seperately or combine them into a single campaign.
Game
components include : 2 Mapsheets, ***563 Counters (no blanks), 10-sided
die, 2 Player Aid charts & 36-page Rules booklet. NOTE: Although the
box states there are 600 counters, this is a mis-print or mis-communication
from the publisher / manufacturer. The true, accurate count is 563 counters.
The resulting difference can be found in Countersheet # 1, where there
are a number of double-wide counters, mistakenly counted by the publisher
as single-wide counters. This leads to the discrepancy in the number of
counters.
