A
tactical-level game of fleet combat at the battle of Tsushima fought in
the Sea of Japan in 1905. It's designed, primarily, with the idea of lines
of Battleships slugging it out. With this in mind, some liberties and abstractions
were taken which gives it more of a "feel" for the period than an out-and-out
historical sim.
Hexes
represent about 1000 meters and game turns are about 7.5 minutes of combat
time. Units are battleships, armored cruisers, protected cruisers, flotilla
of destroyers & torpedo boats and more. There is a beginner scenario
(Battle of Ulsan), historical scenario, short scenario & and alternate
scenario. Optional rules allow for simultaneous movement, flagships, smokescreens,
wind, sun & more. Low to medium complexity.
Game
components include : 22" x 24" Mapsheet, 100 Counters (no blanks) and Rules.
