A
strategic-level sim which re-creates the revolt of the Iceni and other
tribes against the Romans in Britain in 60 AD. One player commands the
rebel British tribes under their warrior-queen Boudica, while the other
controls the Roman occupational forces, plus the tribal elements sympathetic
to the Romans. For the rebel Tribal player, the object is to either defeat
the Roman Legions in battle or raise sufficient tribes against them to
ensure eventual success. The Roman player seeks to crush the rebellion
by preventing activation of fresh forces and by defeating & demoralizing
those which have already risen. Optional victory conditions give some variations.
Medium complexity.
