A
double-blind game of Rommel's campaigns in North Africa during 1941 &
1942 - double-blind meaning that neither player can see the map or counters
of the other player. Played on a Strategic / Operational-level, the game
begins with Rommel's initial breakout in Cyrenaica and continues until
either the Allied Torch landings in Nov. 1942 or one side scores a decisive
victory. The game sacrifices some historical accuracy in order to maintain
its size but not the overall feel of the encounter. Hexes = 30 kilometers
and game-turns = one month.
Game
components include : 2 Mapsheets, 100 Counters (includes 3 blanks?) &
Rules. Players should supply a Die & a screen of some sort to hide
the two maps from each other.
Two
players. Ages 12 & up. World Wide Wargames / 3W from 1986. Wargamer
Magazine # 51.
