A
sim of the campaign fought in the Horn of Africa in 1940-1941. The Italian
player is at a disadvantage here (just like in real life) and will have
to scramble to earn enough victory points to make a good account of themselves.
Hexes = 32 miles. Each player controls ground and air units. Air units
= 40-50 aircraft. Ground units represent divisions, brigades, regiments
and battalions.
The
rules use the basic Europa system (GDW - Game
Designers Workshop) as a framework, with specialized rules for
details --- however this (according to the game) should not be construed
as either a 3W game nor an "official" GDW
game. Many rules were taken from War In the Desert
and Near East. Medium complexity.
Game
components include : Mapsheet, 200 Counters (includes 1 blank) and Rules.
Two
players. Ages 12 & up. 3W / World Wide Wargames from 1989 --- Strategy
& Tactics Magazine # 128.
