CONTENTS:
Dice Roller and score pad.
OBJECT
OF THE GAME: To score the most points by being the first to form 10
words from the random letters.
1.
Each player takes a score sheet. You will also need a pencil (not supplied
with the game). One player rolls the letter dice by rubbing the dice roller
between their hands and lays it flat on the table (or flat surface) in
view of all the players.
2.
Players now race to write down 10 words of 4 or more letters using only
the letters displayed. NOTE: No letter may be used more than once
UNLESS
there is more than one displayed.
3.
EXCEPTIONS:
(A)
Plurals ending in "s" are not allowed.
(B)
Proper nouns, slang and foreign words are not allowed UNLESS they
can be found in the dictionary.
(C)
The two dots over the "A", "O" and "U" should be ignored UNLESS
you are playing the game in German.
4.
The first player to write down 10 words calls "STOP". If no player
can make 10 words, play may be stopped by mutual consent.
5.
SCORING:
(A)
The first player to write down 10 words and stop play scores ONE
Bonus point, HOWEVER
(B)
If any of their words are misspelt, or use a letter not on the dice roller,

(C)
Then, each player calls out his words in turn. If a player's word appears
on another player's list, that word is deleted from ALL players' lists.
(D)

and a running total are recorded on the sheet and the letter dice rolled
to start a new round.
THE
WINNER: Play continues until one player scores a total of 50 points.
ALTERNATIVE
GAME: The aim is to find as many words as possible. One player divides
a plain piece of paper into columns according to the number of players.
After the letters have been rolled and replaced in the center of the table,
players take turns to call out a different word while the "recorder" writes
them down in the correct player's column. If a player is unable to find
a word, they may pass and re-enter the game on a later turn. When no player
is able to find another word, the game ends. SCORING: Total the
number of words in each column and add bonuses as above. the first player
to reach 50 points is the winner. |
